Jifeline technical tip ECS CT-050-D1 towbar cable set

The Jifeline team receives many questions regarding the fog lamp switch-off of the ECS CT-050-D1 e-Set. After installation and coding, the fog lamp on the tow vehicle does not switch off with trailer connected.

The ECS cable set CT-050-D1 does not support fog lamp switching on the towing vehicle. For this, an additional cable set, the SP-161-ZZ, is available via ECS. After correct installation of the additional cable set, the fog light switch-off will function.
